The camera used here is the infamous Nikon D750 along with the Tokina 11-16mm f2.8. This lens has a huge popularity among the APS-C shooters and as a crop sensor shooter myself, I owned it and tested it on the D750 which is a full frame camera. At 11mm the lens delivers a lot of vignetting which creates almost unusable images but zooming to 16mm the vignetting almost disappears. Images are result of at least three files stacked together in photoshop for the better dynamic range and less noise. Gobe ND filter was also used to stop down the harsh sunlights.
After couple of nights in Lisbon, Portugal, my and two of my friends rented a car and drove south to come to Lagos which is and old and stunningly beautiful city. The beach like many other beaches in this area is combined with the huge rocks that have been shaped by the masterful hands of wind and waves of ocean over millions of years creating sculpture like the ones you can see below. I always try to remind myself that the humans lifespan is shorter than a blink of an eye compared to the life of planet earth itself so I try to be more present cause the past is depression and the future is anxiety. There is No time like now.
